Monday Moanin'

With all due respect to Bob Talbert I used his catch phrase for this posting, but it kind of sums things up really. Bob I know you're in Heaven and they say imitation is the greatest form of flattery! So please accept it as that.

Made great contacts over the weekend and very excited about the coming week. T-shirts are in for A Hero Falls and Ryan has a list of upcoming shows listed on Facebook.

Had a great after hours mixer at InSights last Tuesday, finally met Jamie Favreau in person---very cool!

What an incredible last few days though huh? MJ, Farrah, Ed McMahon and Billy the pitch man!

Got to run now, stay tuned.

In addition to the great improv troupe "Whatever You Call It", we got a headliner stand up in Jordan Jones AND Jordan is bringing at least two other comics along with him! If you have not experienced an Open Mic at InSights yet, this is the night for you to break that bad habit.

Lamocu is celebrating it's first anniversary of doing Open Mic's at InSights and we are very proud of where we came from and anxiously looking toward the future. We hope to see all our friends at InSights this weekend to enjoy what we feel will be one of our finest shows to date.

Admission is $10 adults and $5 children. You can spend a lot more and get entertained a LOT less. That's all for now, stay tuned.

Jordan Jones This Saturday!

Jordan Jones
A graduate of Chili Challis' Comedy Dojo, Jordan is another in a long line of talented comedians from southeastern Michigan. Combining real life experience with his own oddball thoughts, Jordan is a constant crowd pleaser. He has performed at the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase, Ridley's Comedy Castle, Joey's Comedy Club, Cappuccino Cafe', and recorded a set for Comcast OnDemand.
In addition to Jordan of course will be our in house improv troupe Whatever You Call It featuring Second City grad Dan Harris. Doors will open at 7, the laughs will begin shortly after 8. Tickets as always are $10 adults, $5 children.

T-shirts & Open Mic

A Hero Falls is asking input from their fans on their tee shirt styles. Several advanced orders were placed last Saturday when the band was here at InSights, but that is just the tip of the iceberg as they say. Five Star Screenprinting is offering some fantastic packages that ALL performers should be looking at, check them out on Facebook for more information.

Last week Lamocu connected with Tarzan Marketing on items for performers to sell, everything from bumper stickers to guitar picks and we're scheduled to meet with them next Tuesday here at InSights.

Finally, Lauren Alm is this week's featured artist at our Open Mic night. Doors open at 7, show begins at 8. Tickets as always are $10 for adults, $5 for children. More later, stay tuned.
